In order to prepare for the forthcoming International Accreditation Accreditation of the Accreditation of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (ASIIN), the Accreditation Task Force Team (ASIIN) within the UMM Faculty of Agriculture-Animal Science (FPP) on Thursday and Friday, 6-7 July 2023 at 7-30 – 17.00 WIB held a meeting to discuss all preparations for the Accreditation Program (ASIIN) which is an international accreditation institution originating from Germany for the disciplines of engineering, mathematics and science, agriculture, biology. The meeting was held at the Faculty of Agriculture-Animal Husbandry Meeting Room, GKB 1 Room 5.36, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. In the meeting, several speakers provided directions or information on what needs to be prepared for International Accreditation (ASIIN).
The speech for the event was delivered by Dr. Surya Anoraga, SH., M.Hum, as UPT Accreditation and Rating (AP), along with remarks from the dean Dr. Ir. Aris Winaya, MM. M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN Eng followed by the opening from Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. Syamsul Arifin, M.Sc.
At the meeting, several things were discussed, including the UPT Accreditation and Rating response, which stated that all study programs had prepared everything well. There was a need to ensure that laboratory conditions were ready for use. Second, it is advisable to apply a schedule to control so that it is more focused, "said Dr. Surya Anoraga, SH., M. Hum. That was fully supported by Vice Chancellor I, Prof. Dr. Syamsul Arifin, M.Sc., who said that now it was time for UMM to level up with the help of social, historical capital and capital owned by UMM so that when this Accreditation was used as a means of improving the completeness of education.
Based on input and suggestions from several speakers who attended the event, Dr. Mochammad Riyanto, S.Pi., MSi explained several things that need to be considered for the visitation, namely preparation aspects consisting of team preparation, infrastructure preparation, HSE/K3 preparation, documentation and outreach preparation, laboratory preparation, the website used must be updated and bilingual and classroom preparation. Not only that, Dr. Mochammad Riyanto, S.Pi., Msi also said that the presence of the rectorate leadership would also be beneficial in showing an attitude that wanted to achieve international Accreditation.
