| UMM Rector, Dean of Agriculture-Animal Science Faculty and Industrial Practitioners attended the Curriculum Review for Poultry Professional Class and Entrepreneur Class |
Poultry Professional Class and Entrepreneur Class initiated by the Department of Animal Science , Faculty of Agriculture-Animal Science two years ago, need evaluation for its curriculum. Today (19/3) located at Rays Hotel, a curriculum review was carried out by presenting industrial practitioners from PT. Jatinom Indah Agri, PT. Charoen Pokphand, PT. Sanbe Farma, and PT. Mensana. In this activity, UMM Rector, Dr. Fauzan, MPd expressed the hope that all study programs in this faculty have a superior class that is implemented like this professional class of poultry.
Not only the UMM Rector who attended this activity, but the Dean and the Head of Study Program in this faculty and all lecturers in the Animal Science Department also participated in the curriculum review. The industrial practitioners who attended were partners in the Animal Science Department who provided an overview, input, and evaluation of the curriculum for these two classes. The fundamental reason for presenting these partners is because they are teaching practitioners and give the place for apprenticeship activities.
This curriculum review activity resulted in the improvement and addition of learning content, skills, practicum and internships for the Poultry Professional Class. Meanwhile, for the Entrepreneur Class, an evaluation was obtained to improve skills in the field of animal feed formulation and ruminant livestock production. In addition, optimizing the use of the analysis laboratory and poultry house as a support for student skills. (RAN/hum)
