"We hope that through this grand reunion, we can continue to provide real contributions, both in curriculum development and in supporting active students through mentoring or job opportunities. This is also our commitment to continue to innovate and produce superior and globally competitive graduates," said David.

The alumni's commitment is realized through the provision of scholarships to several outstanding students both regionally and internationally. The provision of these scholarships is also inseparable from the many successful alumni spread across various sectors throughout Indonesia, ranging from the fisheries industry, and government, to the private sector.

The event included a sharing session on the alumni journey with the theme 'Building Synergy and Collaboration of Alumni for the Future of Sustainable Fisheries' and a session on the election of the management of the UMM Fisheries Alumni Association (IKAPI) for the 2025-2029 period.
