FPP has just held the inauguration of the chairman of each student organization under the Student Executive Board (BEM), Faculty Senate (SEFA), Study Program Student Association (HMPS), and Semi-Autonomous Institute (LSO). The inauguration was held offline in the FPP GKB 1 5th floor courtroom on Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
The new board members appointed are the result of the General Election (PEMIRA) which has been held since June. The PEMIRA process runs democratically because each student has the right to vote which can be channeled using the e-vote system. Those who are selected are selected students who will carry out the task for the next year to organize superior programs at the Faculty level.
Dean of FPP Dr. Ir. Aris Winaya, M.M., M.Sc. IPU in his remarks after the inauguration ceremony revealed that the role of student organizations is very important in today's era. Even though in the era of independence, students can learn many opportunities to graduate quickly, organizational skills are still very much needed. It is hoped that with the regeneration of the management, they can continue to carry out their mandate in supporting FPP to become a superior faculty.
